mistakes and corrections

hi peeps... it has been a while...

enjoyin my 4day week while it lasts... next week on, it's gonna be a full 5day week... finally gt to c sarah yest aft so so so long! misses her so much n as usual, hearin lots of interestin stuffs frm her~ :)

anw, guess wad, i'm actually studyin philosophy this sem... reason n persuasion! actually wanted to read this module last sem but sorta intimidated by the big term "PHILOSOPHY"! however, still decided on it since i've not many choices left for my 5th module this sem n grace's takin it too... =)

anw, came across this durin e lect...

pretty interestin isnt it? i kinda agree with him cos i hate it when ppl correct each and every of my silly mistakes... dun get me wrong, pls go ahead and correct me if i make a grave mistake or some lame mispronounciations cos that's how we learn! and btw, tt's how i finally know how to pronounce "miraculously" correctly! but pls dun go correctin each and every of my stupid silly mistakes, which most prob wun affect e content or understandin of e conversation...

i really cant think of any past situations i've been in so i'll create one...

*imagine...*
i'm discussin with "X" bout a basket of fruits right in front of us.
me: hey look! there're 5 apples in the basket (when in fact there're only 4)... i love apples! u?
X: ya not too bad... but erm... u were sayin there're how many apples?
me: 5...
X: i think there're only 4...
me: ... ... (O K...!)

an extremely simplified version but get wad i mean? this kinda thingy jus pisses me off, totally totally pisses me off! i definitely dun c e need for him/her to prove i'm wrong in this kind of circumstances cos it sure din make me a better person, e sun still rises in east n sets in west, nothin significant has been changed! wad's e pt? n of cos e tone affects alot too~ i wld most prob haf found it easier to accept "haha! aiyo.. only 4 apples la!" and not a so-simple-also-make-mistakes(so stupid) kinda tone... *argh!*

owell... it's all prob due to my big ego...
